IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE - JOMA IRIS CHILDREN'S RAIN JACKET 100087

Dear Customer,

BE Uniforms is committed to the safety and satisfaction of our customers. As part of Joma UK's ongoing product monitoring and safety compliance efforts, they have identified a potential safety concern with Joma Iris children's rain jackets in sizes 6XS to XS.

These jackets have been supplied with drawstrings in the hoods that feature free ends. While the hoods are designed to store away in the collar of the jacket, the presence of free-ended drawstrings poses a safety risk for children, as it does not comply with established safety standards for children's garments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

if your child owns an affected jacket, we kindly request that you take the following actions:

1. Stop using the jacket immediately: Discontinue the use of the jacket until the issue has been resolved.

2. Remove the hood cord: To eliminate the risk, please pull the drawstring completely through the hood and dispose of it. This will render the jacket safe for further use.

3. Return the jacket to us (if preferred): If you do not wish to remove the hood cord yourself, you may return the jacket to us. We will carry out the corrective action on your behalf.

If you have any questions, concerns, or further guidance regarding this issue, please do not hesitate to contact your local sales representative.

Sincerely,

William & Ross Smillie

Free Cricket Sessions for Girls

Penicuik Cricket Club are excited to be running a girls only Dynamos programme this year on Saturday mornings, 11am to 12pm starting on the 18th of May.

Dynamos is an 8 week programme designed specifically for children aged 8-11.  Even better news is that Cricket Scotland are providing full funding so we can offer participants these sessions for FREE! Each participant will also receive a free branded t-shirt, bat and ball from Cricket Scotland, normally the course would cost £40.

No prior experience of cricket is required, all welcome. We have a limited number of spaces and a special link and discount code for bookings, so if interested please email juniorcricketpenicuik@outlook.com for access to the link. We  are also fortunate to have Coach Phoebe Beal join our team who will be leading these sessions. As a club we are working hard to invest in our girls, providing more opportunities for them to play and develop their skills. Cricket is not just for boys!
